...Is finally here, and I have a lot in mind. There is a lot I want to do, and although it is only the second day, I am pretty happy with how things are turning out so far. I thought I'd take this time to list what I plan to do with my time this summer.
+ Most importantly, I am hoping to work on my photography a LOT this summer. I invested in a lovely Kodak dual lens camera that I'm ecstatic with; the wide angle lens performs beautifully. Although I wanted a more high-end camera such as the Canon Rebel, I think this will be a lot more convenient for spontaneous photos. I already have people asking to model for me, which is great, and I'm really excited to take my camera with me everywhere and take photos of just anything. At the end of the summer, I hope to look through all of my photographs and choose the most memorable and my favorites, and also what people consider my best work, and make prints of them. So hopefully that will go well.
+ My writing, also, is very important to me, and I'm looking forward to working on my style. I'm also working on a graduation speech for next year, and I want that to be too amazing to turn down, basically, because I'm probably going to have to petition to be able to read it graduation -- as I highly, highly doubt I will be valedictorian or even close. So I'm crossing my fingers in that regard also.
+ I got my job at the theatre back as of yesterday, so hopefully I will be working a lot of hours and making plenty of money to spend in my senior year

I hope it's less stressful than it was earlier this year, but I'm also hoping to get a call back from the other jobs I applied to just in case.
+ AP Psychology will, of course, have me tied up with the summer work, but I'm actually looking forward to that also
+ I'll be taking spanish classes at the college four days a week, which will obviously engage a lot of my time (and I'll be heading to work right after!) but hopefully this won't be too difficult.
+ Comedysportz camp should be amazing (this is from July 24-28 in Pasadena) and I am really looking forward to growing as an improvisationalist and an actress, but also to making new friends and get closer to my old ones, and of course have fun -- but I'm sure that will happen.
+ AJ will be having parties every Friday (and I went to the first of these summer get-togethers last night) which is really exciting and might get a little out of control, but in the best kind of way! ;]
And last, I am hoping to continue to remain single this summer. It's been nearly 7 months already and I'm really enjoying it. Otherwise, I wouldn't have time to do anything! I have so much on my plate already, and have just begun being happy in more than just a short-lived way.

So unless something spectacular happens and I meet someone I just cannot pass on, no boys this summer. As for meaningless flings? We'll see.
This is the first photo I am proud of this summer.
